COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Saesonal - Summer.
A huge hop aroma introduces the "King of the Golden Beers". There is a hint of spice in the fruity flavour and a long finish that completes this classic beer.

Cask at Ascot Festival 2011. Pours a gold colour with a thin white head. Plenty of hops in the aroma, the taste has plenty of citrus fruit with a crisp bitter finish.

Cask conditioned at Minehead Beer Fest ’11. Gold with white head. Quite a slight, malty, summery beer, reasonably dry, I didn’t get the "Huge Hop Aroma". It’s ok, but expected a little more.

On cask at the brewery, in the grounds of Denbies vineyard. Cracking example of the style, super-refreshing with a nice balance of lively citrus notes and bitter hops. Really good.

Good light hops throughout both the aroma and flavour. Not much dryness though.

A Mes rate: cask at the Hop Farm festival.
Bright yellow gold with a white film topping and decent condition. Good fruity and earthy malt with a lovely citric and dusky hop character and a faint mineral note. Big floral and grassy hop flavour with a strange minty note but it’s probably from the general masses of greenery. Good bitter finish. Excellent dry feel. Straight forward but very good.

Cask Conditioned @ Guide Dog, Soton. Zesty hop aroma. Some malt sweetness and nice hop flavours a bit more grassy in the mouth. Finish is unfortunately quite short.
