500ml bottle. Clear amber/gold colour with firm white creamy head. Aroma is extremly sharp and citrussy. Tart, fresh hops. Taste is great. Does taste like an IPA rather than a bitter. Lots of lemon and lime with sharp/dry hops.

Cask at the Roebuck, Richmond, drunk in the sun. Vibrant yellow, clear and still, small white head. Aroma - lemon hops and lager. Body is medium to light, carbonation is higher than average for cask. Taste is initially strong grapefruit and lemon, but an astringent resinous bitterness comes more to the fore over time and eventually takes over completely. I really enjoyed it initially but then it completely dried my mouth out. Overall it’s a decent summery cask pale ale.

Been meaning to try this for ages since visiting the brewery last year. Really powerful citrus and pine aroma, taste is extremely refreshing, citrus, grapefruit, nettles and a dry hop finish. Brilliant ale.
