Cask; Regular.
The flagship beer is pale in colour with a subtle hint of grapefruit and lemon in the aroma. The wonderful hop bitterness is complemented by a balanced malt flavour. The beer has a long finish, which is moderately dry.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2013 Bottle at home, from Wine Rack Burpham, 05/04/13. BB jan ’14. Pours clear golden with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to the edge of the glass. Nose carries malt, citrus, touch of hops, floral notes, caramel, sugars. Taste comprises pale malt, hops, caramel, orange. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation a touch over spritzed, dry finish with some hop bitterness. Carbonation flattens as I progress the journey with this one, upped from 3 to 4 on palate score, assertive hop bitterness in the finish. An OK drinkable bitter.

Bottle at home. Sourced by Ms. jackl while on an excursion to deepest, darkest Surrey. The pour’s light chestnut with a medium white head. The nose is spunky grassy hops, light caramel, some lemon rind and dried herb. The taste is mild apricot and cherry, decent malt. Sharp, dry grassy hops take over the middle and finish of this beer. Certainly more hoppy in profile than I imagined it would be. Lemon wood dry finish. Light body, soft carbonation. Overall, pretty decent. The more aggressive hop profile certainly helps it stand out from the crowd.

Cask handpump at The William Cobbett and also at The Waverley Arms, Farnham, Saturday 10th March 2012 Light amber in appearance with a slight haze and a slim white head. Decently hoppy with a nice citrussy rush, predominantly lemon, touch dry at end. Good bittersweet beer, served just a tad warm at the William Cobbett. Enjoyable beer. A6 A3 T8 P3 Ov15 3.5

On cask at three horseshoes, sidling bridge. Pours amber with thin head. Not a lot going on here, inoffensive but boring ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
