COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle, finally found in Kvickly, Vejle.
Pours a good-looking, deep chestnut with a great, staying, rather large, very creamy cappucino head. This is really schwarzbier appearing to be stout. Lovely. Aroma is clearly more scwarzbier, sweet caramel, light roasted and a slight hint of milky chocolate. A hint of ashes. Medium carbonation, light and breezy mouthfeel without being thin. Flavour is mild and sweet at first, the milky chocolate peeping out from behind the hard roasted malts. A hint of metal that isn’t too out of place. Long, lingering bitter finish. Nice schwarzbier.

Maria (9558) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 8, 2010
Courtesy of Thelonious and Svaneke Bryghus. It’s black/brown with a red hue and a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel and light licorice. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, caramel, licorice, light butterscotch, and the finish is dry and slightly bitter. It’s a very soft and charming beer, very easy to drink.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of caramel, nuts, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of bread, malt, caramel, nuts, and minerals, leading to a dry mineralic finish.
