UPDATED: DEC 31, 2012 Appearance is dark brown, with light dark foam. Aroma has cocoa beans, some coffee and very strongly chocolate. I couldn?t find any other flavors than chocolate when tasting this stout, which was really disappointing for such a ?special? beer.

Pours deep brown, almost black with low tan head. Aroma is milk chocolate, roasted malts, some syrup. Flavor is roasted malts, coffeeish, milk chocolate, roastiness. A bit watery palate maybe, but very much choco flavor. Nice beer.

Aroma isn’t complex but very strong sweet chocolate aroma. I like it. black beer , light brown head., leaves lacing. light bitter. the sweetness from the aroma doesnt transfer that much in to the taste. light sweetness. body a bit too thin for my liking.

Bottle. Very dark brown, average and fully diminishing light brown head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, light roasted malt and lots of chocolate and vanilla. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, light roasted malt and lots of chocolate and vanilla. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, some roasted malt, lots of chocolate and some vanilla, faint hoppyness. Too much chocolate - for those with sweet tooth (and taste for chocolate).

Bottle. Thanks bluus. Pours a wooden dark brown, no head. Aroma is sweet chocolate, milk chocolate, artificially chocolatey, cloying. Taste is chocolate and milk chocolate, sweet but fortunately not cloyingly so. Unfortunately it is still nauseatingly artificial. There is nothing else there except the chocolate. A light presence of hops, grassy or flowery - I’m not sure, it’s only in the finish turning a bit drier that you can detect them. The sweet milk chocolate stays in your mouth a long time. Palate is fairly smooth, not much carbonation.

50 cl bottle from Alko. Poured dark brown with a brown head. Aroma is artificial like, sweet milk chocolate, coffee liqueur? Flavor has sweet chocolate, instant coffee, light roastedness. Light body. Poor.

Dark brown body, small light brown head. Arima is very sweet chocolate, bit like cream liquor. Thats basicly only aroma. Flavour adds little acidic notes and some dark fruity hoppy flavor. Very thin almost watery. Rich in chocolate, but is this good. I like to have some beer flavours as well.

Bottle from Alko. Black color, brown head. Sweet taste with chocolate, coffee, toffee, caramel and malts. Roasty finish with chocolate. A bit too artificial taste, otherwise good stout.

Bottle. Black color with a thin beige head. Strong aroma of sweet chocolate and coffee. Some rotten vegetables in otherwise chocolate-like taste.

500 ml bottle. Dark reddish brown colour, thin light beige head. Aroma of vanilla, milk chocolate and roasted malt. The flavour is roasted malty, with chocolate and vanilla, and some fruity notes. A little too candy-like and light-bodied to be really enjoyable.
