Sep 30, 2007 Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a huge tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, yeast, nuts, and straw. The flavor is sweet malty with some notes of burnt caramel, as well as yeast, and herbs, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

May 16, 2007 Updated: Jun 27, 2007Bottled at Københavnske Øldage. Clear nut brown. Dominated by roasty, nutty chewy malt. Medium bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Notes of caramel under some vague grassy hops. Low bitterness. Solid brown ale, but doesn’t offer too much out of the ordinary.

Apr 22, 2007 Updated: Apr 2, 2008(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Svaneke Dobbel Brun". Hazy, amber golden with a dense, beige head. Aroma of caramel and roasted malt. Fairly light body with notes of roasted malt and a touch of fruit. Very, very dry without much bitterness. A somewhat odd beer. 080407

Aug 4, 2007 50 cL bottle. Pours muddy brown with no head and very little lacing. Aroma is bread, sweet citric fruity, spiced and brewmash malty. Citric flavour with a distinct bread like malt flavour. Very fruity flavour into a good bitterfinish.
