Gr0ve (1115), Oslo, Norway Jun 6, 2008 500 ml bottle. Delicate hazy white golden colour. Tall white fine-laced head that clings to the glass. Clean floral hop aroma. High carbonation level. Some light notes of hay and bread and some citrus as well. Flavourwise the hops are rather neutral. The bitterness is prominent, as the malts don’t come through that well. Light grainy malts. Overall a light-bodied beer. Refreshing indeed, but could have used a little more flavour.
Plimmer (243), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 20, 2008 Bottle 50cl. Yellow (slightly amber) body with a bit hazyness and a medium size white head leaving some laces. Fruity hops in the nose. Fresh hoppy light and easy drinkable body with a slight bitter aftertaste. plovmand (676), Helsinge, Denmark Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear golden with a fine white head. Good hoppy nose with a great malt base. Flavour is sweet malty with a good hoppy bitterness. Good in the summer. Egon (310), Gothenburg, Sweden Jul 26, 2008 Bottle. Hazy yellow with white head.Grass, hay and some bitterness makes this a nice beer in summertime. Not bad for a pilsener but maybe not worth a large detour to find it. espenra (126), Oslo, Norway Jul 21, 2008 50cl bottle from Lørenskog Brusshop. It poured an light, almost transparent, yellow colour with a big head that settles down fast in the glass and almost disappears. The aroma is bitter and smells of grass, honey, and hops. The flavor is slighly bitter and tastes of malts. It has a short aftertaste. NosirIwont (879), Aalborg Vestby, Denmark Jul 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy, pale yellow with a white head and some lacing. Looks like a witbier. Aroma is cooked vegetables; a delicate blend of potatoes, carrots and peas, I believe. As it warms, it develops some malty notes, but is still dominated by the vegetables. Flavour is sweetish cereals and cooked vegetables. Notes of hay in the finish and a decent, medium bitterness. The bitterness is the only good thing about this beer. This is crap! ...There, I said it! 04-07-08.
