500 ml. bottle, shared at the summerhouse. Clear, amber colour with a small, off-white head. Fruity and sweet aroma with exotic fruits: Citrus, mangos, passion fruit. Taste is light sweet and fruity. Medium body with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. Finishes bitter and fruity. Nice IPA in american style.

10-AUG-2012, bottle @home, from Fish & Beer. Hazy red with lasting, lacing, high tan head. Grass, grape fruit, pine, and tropical fruits. Taste the same with also malty bready, caramelly, fruity notes. Bordering an American red ale. Surprisingly good IPA from Svaneke. Really fresh and well-made IPA from a brewery that often disappoints. .

bottle. pours hazy deep amber with a fluffy off white head. Aroma: you get fruity hops, mostly gooseberries, mango and passionfruit, sweet caramel malty base. Mouthfeel is medium to full, also a bit oily, and almost on the verge of being cloying. taste is grainy malts, rye, medium grassy bitternes, some orange peel, pine, citrussy hops, some peach, heavy malty presence, overall a bit too sweet in my opinion, ends dry with grassy and grapefruit notes

Dark amber coloured beer with a medium off-white head. Aroma is fruity malt and lots of hops. Taste is malty hoppy citrus with hints of caramel. Medium to heavy palate. Nice one Svaneke.

Hazy brown/amber colour with a tan head. Caramel and fruity aroma. Mostly a dominant caramel flavour. But off course the ususual tropical fruity hoppiness. A lovey aftertaste. Good texture.

Bottled. Pours amber with an average sized, off- white head. Nose of citrus fruits, mango and piney notes. Sweet flavor of grapefruit, lemon, resin and caramel. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. Ends up quite bitter. An OK IPA.

(50 cl bottle; BBD: February 16th 2013) Pours a cloudy, light mahogany with a rich and long-lasting tan head that laces the glass nicely. Aroma is less hoppy than I would have hoped for the style. An initial note of fir recedes quickly in favour of something that I can only describe as malty floral. The beer is quite bitter and has a dry, bitter finish. Carbonation is lively and the body is medium. For me this beer is too bitter when I can’t detect any reedeming aromatic qualities or a bit more malty sweetness.
