3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
EBF2008. Courtesy of Jan. It’s a slightly hazy, warm, red copper color and the aroma has notes of caramel and berries. The flavour has sweetness and notes of caramel, malt, berries and dry citrus. It’s a pleasant dunkel.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
[EBF @ Copenhagen, September 2008] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Dark amber color. Nice malty profile, grain, caramel, mild nutty notes. Over the palate came balanced floral hoppy notes. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with some counter bitterness. Floral and mild malty finish. Solid brew as always from Svaneke.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 50cl. Amber/orange and slightly hazy body with a large dense head. Sweet malt in the nose but also notes of honey and other sweets. Medium body with lots of sweet malt and grains - almost like the danish "rye bread". Tastes a lot like it´s "mother beer" the "non eco-version" of Mørk Guld. A nice finish dominated by sweet malt and without much bitterness
