Nicely balanced Like the svaneke stout, but much more taste, and stronger, thus more interesting.

Oct 5, 2008 50 cl bottle at Skallerup Klit. Almost black, nice light brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt and hints of smoke. Flavor is burned bitter coffee, some sweetness and hints of smoke.

Aug 11, 2008 500 ml bottle. Thick creamish, lightly tanned head. Opaque, dark brown to near black body. Fairly dry cocoa/chocolate aroma. Whiffs of roast, coffee and licorice. Much the same flavorwise, more sweetness with chocolate dominating. Powdery texture, medium body. Chocolate finish. Very likeable.

Jul 10, 2008 Bottle. Black, large beige head. Roasted malt and dry sweetness. Coffee. Taste better after a while when it get a bit warmer. Nice port but a quite thin body..
