3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and chili, and so is the flavor, leading to a lightly bitter finish. The chili bites lightly in the tongue.

Handbottled from tap.
Cloudy orange brown coloured with a small off white head.
Sweet aroma of malts, caramel, chili pepper and vegetables.
Sweet flavour of malts, caramel, chili pepper, fruits and hops.
I prefer chili in my food instead of in my beer.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Hand bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Thelonious. Slightly hazy dark amber golden with a small rough off-white head. Distinct chili aroma. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel and some chili notes that come creeping slowly and spreads their heat on your skin. The finish is dry. Quite interesting. 310808

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled. Reddish amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is at first quite nicely malty and floral, but very soon gets a quite strong spiciness to it. The flavour works rather similar, leaving a quite heavy burn as an aftertaste. Probably this would be better to drink with some snacks, instead of just on it’s own.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Handpump at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, Gustav Adolf Torg
Cloudy red-amber color with generous creamy head. Aroma of red jam, wet malt, a bit earthy. Smooth but rather anonymous ale, with raw malt sweetish flavor, and moderate chili hotness; normal bitterness.
Could be interesting with spicy food, besides that, it was not necessary.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, courtesy of papsoe. It pours a clear, orange-golden budy under a small, beige head. Caramel, a touch of fruits but mostly chili in the aroma. The flavor has the same distinct chili as the aroma, and also some caramel sweetness and a fruityness. Nice, full-bodied, chili burning mouthfeel. Some caramel in the finish, but mostly chili, which gives a nice and pleasing burn. A beer that should be bottled, not only available at the brewpub. (081003)
