COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle, 5.0%. Mild roasted aroma, rye bread, hint of hvidtøl. Almost clear dark brown colour. Good stable light brown head. The flavour is a lot like the aroma, roasted with good rye bread notes. Slightly sweet, but not sugary or anything like that. Subtle, but with enough flavour. Well-balanced.

Toast in liquid form. Interesting flavor and a dark almost pulling slightly to porter.

PapaVillum (468) - Valby, DENMARK - FEB 1, 2014
50 cl, flaske, 5,0 %, købt i Kvickly i Spinderiet i Valby, 1. februar 2014. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flasche 50cl. Tief dunkel, undurchsichtig. Sehr lecker.

0.5 bottle. Aroma composed mostly of malty scents, roasty and nutty with obvious tones of caramel. Very dark brown, completely impervious liquid and a nice, brownish creamy head. Taste is very nicely balanced, bittersweet resembling soft, warm, dark bread. Medium body, softly carbonated what highlights the fine creamy texture. Finish is medium long and slightly more bitter than the taste, but not to a fault. Overall a nice beer, looking conspicuous with this black and white label but still I’m kind of surprised how good it is mostly due to the Kvickly logo I didn’t expect much of it.

330 ml bottle. Practically clear, dark reddish brown body with a small, stable beige head. Mild but delicate aroma of roasted malt, coffee and a tiny hint of liquorices. Flavor is sweet, mild roasted malt, toast, some coffee, chocolate and a light bitterness. Medium body and medium aftertaste. A decent beer, easy drinkable and well balanced without any magnificent complexity. Quite pleasant.

Habanero (2662) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK - MAY 24, 2012
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2012 Bottled. Pours deep, dark brown with an average sized, creamy beige head leaving a good lacing on the glass. Nose of toasted malts and caramel. Sweet flavor of roasted malts, caramel, bread and berries notes. Medium to full bodied, creamy to oily texture and soft carbonation. Ends up more dry and slightly bitter. An OK brew from Svaneke.
