3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Botled. Pours slightly hazy, amber and with a large off-white, mostly lasting head.Fair lacings. Average carbonation. Nose of light malts and grass. Medium sweet flavour with caramel, bread, nuts, herbs and notes of grass. Light to medium bodied. Watery texture. Ends up more dry and with a pleasant bitterness. An OK and well balanced brew and excellent served with a traditional Danish Christmas lunch.

typical in most ways for a Danish ’christmas’ beer - a little spice on the heavily malted nose, colored dark brown, malted and sugary taste with a hint of alcohol warmth in the end

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle (Copenhagen) gift from Dr Space - thanks!
Sweet fruity caramelly malt aroma. Deep orange, small mouldy head. Pleasant carbonation, smooth palate. Very caramelly bias to the malt body, and sweet fruity hops. Finish tingles nicely with bitterness. Perhaps over-sweet, but not sickly. Some cocoa and other spices too in places. Covers the 5.7% easily. Very tasty new-world-hop reinterpretation of the dunkel style.
