50 cL bottle. Pours amber with huge light brown head. Aroma is malt and caramel and the classical Svaneke yeast which is also present in the taste. Sweet flavour. Nothing special, I which that had their real Christmas brews on the shelves.

Light clear red-brown colour with a bubbly creamy average lasting big off-white head. Sweet aroma of caramel, fruitiness and toasted malt. Sweet caramel flavour, some bitterness, toasty maltiness, fruitiness, little touch of spices. Sweet somewhat metallic dryish aftertaste. Ok Christmas brew.

Amber colour with a minor white mostly diminishing head, and a fair lacing. Aroma of caramel and malt. Sweet taste, but a bit sour finish.

Pours fiery amber with abig fizzy yet creamy looking off white head. Aroma is heavy of sweet caramel, some clove, coriander and other sweetness. Quite high carbonated. Sweet and caramelly at first, then turns flowery, adding som toffee flavours before going into a slight dry bitterness.

Bottle 50 cl. Labeled "Rød Julebryg"... Smells weird of something burned and it’s in the flavour too. Bad batch?

Mine was called "Rød Julebryg", but I think its the same (Abv is 5,7%). Clear and amber colour. White head, not lasting. Has a malty aroma and flavor, perhaps a small note of laqurice.

Bottle at home - shared with Mette. Clear deep red - white head. This has the same taste as all Apollo-brews - strange. Wierd malty, rye, bread, sour, yeasty. Not Good.

Well the christmastime is coming up, but no gifts yet! In the glass it look very much like a christmas beer huge and long lasting offwhite head and reddish brown colour and lots of carbonation. The aroma is disappointing with a little notes of caramel. And the the doesn´t differ much from a standard pilsner. Not very much aftertaste maybe a little malt. The price is much too high for this beer. A little more expensive than the ordinary beers would be ok, but 5 times that price is too much. Try Brøckhouse or Carlsbergs Semper Ardens instead.

Slightly opaque dark brown amber with a big frothy head that left lots of lace. Aroma is mostly cherries with some sweet caramelly malt. Nicely balanced flavour that tended towards sweet, but had some bitterness to complement. A good honest drink. (Thanks to highlandlad)
