50 cL bottle. Pours amber with huge light brown head. Aroma is malt and caramel and the classical Svaneke yeast which is also present in the taste. Sweet flavour. Nothing special, I which that had their real Christmas brews on the shelves.

A hazy orange-brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma contains notes of caramel, esters, and a dusty hop note - could be Goldings. The flavor is pretty much like the rest of the Svaneke beers - no mistake could be made, it is sweet with strong notes of caramel and esters from warm fermentation of a lager. I really can’t find anything Christmas about this beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy amber golden with a warm, underlying orange glow. Huge and frothy off-white head that only dissipates very slowly. Malty, caramelish aroma. Rustic and somewhat artisanal touch. Sweetish malty yet with a faint underlying tartness. Hops do appear to add a bitter finish. Not bad, just a bit flawed and inharmonious. 201105
