From Superbrugsen, Aarhus, DK.
Unbalanced sweetness to the acidicy from the aggressive carbonation

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
50cl bottle. Pours pale & hazy yellow with a humongous white foam - keeps on exploding - pretty annoying. Pretty pissed at this beer already. Aroma is corn/hay/yeast - very sour - Yikes. Watery & thin palate. Taste is grainy & fruity & overall decent compared to aroma. Interesting idea - but it doesnt work!

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Huge egg-white head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Clear somewhat sparkling body with a yellow color. Aroma of citrus, hay, grain and fruit. Over the palate some grassy notes with a hint of sweet apricot and wheat with again citrus notes. Light bodied with an average carbonation. Flavor was light sweet with some acidic. Light sweet and sour finish. Strange brew.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
(on bottle) Very light yellow, semiwhite jead. Wheaty and creamy, stays light throughout to pour. Nice story with the champagneyeast, where´s the nots of it? Would never drink it again, but the idea of a low alcohol for sailors is good.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Brewed with champagne yeast. Light golden with champagne bobbles and a prickly mouthfeel. The aroma is fruity and has the Svaneke malt-profile. The flavour is sourish/acidic with notes of fruit, mainly citrus and a bit of malt. I thinks it’s thin and boring. 1846

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy, pale yellow with a big, fluffy white head (which quickly diminishes). Sweetish and sourish aroma. Notes of cereals and yeast. Notes of cardboard appear as it warms. Flavour is yeasty. Some bitterness. Remote hops. Finish has a licorice bitterness. Grassy. This seems a lot more like a weissbier than an English pale ale, in both looks, aroma and flavour (and not a particularly good one). 18-06-07.
