3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Draught at Plan B, Copenhagen, 18 May 2007) Pale yellow colour, hazy, huge white head. Spicy, fruity nose with notes of coriander, clove and lemon. Fruity, spicy taste with the same elements (clove, coriander, lemon) and a puff of spicy hops in the finish. Light body, rather dry and fairly bitter. A bit like a belgian wit, but druyer and more bitter. Interesting, and more taste than the abv would suggest.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap, Plan B. Cloudy yellow white color, medium white head. Looks like a belgian white. Aroma is quite weak of banana, some what. Quite bitter belgian white style beer, thick wheaty. Then it’s not too bad.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle, 3.3% at Frederikshavn øl- og vinfestival 07. Cloudy, but shiny yellow colour. Small white head. Starts off with a wheat beer flavour, quite citric. Turns to a harsh bitterness, like in many other LA beers. With notable old, burnt plastic flavours. High carbonation. Might be an OK LA beer without the plastic flavour.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Smells of yoghurt and champagne. Mellow sourness. Tastes very much like a wheat beer. Too light bodied and a bit watery. Also slightly vinous. Very lively carbonation. Long mild bitter finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Yellow coloured. Unclear. Dense white head. Sweetness, fruits and citrus in the aroma. Flavour of yeast, spice, sweetness and loads of citrus. Is medium bodied. Citric and spiced end. Is grapish and fresh. Surprisingly refreshing and easy to drink. One of the better low alcohol beers I’ve tried.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a lovely beer by any standards. Looks very much like a wheat-beer, with some of the same summery, refreshing elements. It’s dry and spicy, slightly sour. Saisony flavours all the way through (and it’s not those sweet, cloying american saisons either) High CO2 content in order to beef up the refreshing saison-character. The fact that it’s a low alcohol beer with plenty of characteris an extra plus. A whole new style, and a good one too.
