2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I must admit that this is a very boring bock! It does not remind me of the good german bock beers. I guess the germans are better at the bocks.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Spar, Gudhjem, Bornholm - brown pour with off white head. Overt sweet malty, with notes of caramel, toffee, some nutty notes, dark fruity notes, brown sugar, light spice, but overall a touch too sweet (even for me)

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared at the 2015 edition of the chriso Pre-GBBF tasting - London. Big thanks to Chris for pulling this bottle from his vault. Cheers! Pours clear amber with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds funky earth, toasty bread and dough. Medium sweet flavour, a bit doughy, with some ripe fruits. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary finish with more bready malts, mellow ripe fruits. OK overall.

Pre GBBF tasting at Chris and Ruth’s. Dusty bottle from the Chris O archives. Clear amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Sweetish malts, some cream. Mild floral bitterness. Light dried fruits. Light finish. Fine!

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
It is a beautiful amber beer with coarse foam that is after some time, but leaves a solid continuous layer on top. Smells of malt and caramel, but does not leave the great aromatic experience as some other bocks do. Seems almost a little anonymous. The taste is somewhat sweet to type, but only briefly before it offers a slightly fruity taste of berries. Caramel and roasted malt spoils the taste buds and a sufficiently prolonged hop bitterness in the final invokes some residual sweetness in the finish. It is a classic and very nice bock, just a bock as a bock should be.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
50 cl, flaske, 6,9 % ABV, købt i Kvickly Allerød, 4. juli 2014.
God mellemlang eftersmag.
God Dobbeltbock og min bedste Svaneke øl-oplevelse.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
From bottle Bornholm, Svanneke, appear golden copperish red with offwhite 2 finders of head. Aroma is malty and sweet. Taste is flowerish and fruity, sweetyness is well balanced with hop bitterness.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
02-JUN-2013, bottle @home, from Torvehallerne.
Clear amber with almost no tan head.
Pilsner hoppy bitter aroma with alcohol and caramel.
Taste is much the same. A little more malty fruity with dried fruits and tobacco. Medium body and lively carbon.
I am not a huge fan of Svaneke but cannot help being a little disappointed, anyway. This is a boring example of a doppelbock.
