Bottle. Dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, dark fruits and a little nutty. Flavour is malt, chocolate, caramel, medium sweet, hops, little nutty and a little dark fruits.

Bottle @ Voldby Ølmesse. Pours hazy dark brown with a offwhite head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, candy sugar. Flavor is malt, caramel, sugar, wood, grassy hops. Medium body, soft carbonation. 250812

Draught at the brewpub. Lovely, clear dark amber-red colour with a lasting, off-white head. Sweet and malty aroma with lots of caramel sweetness, some coffee and yeasts. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body with an oily texture. Medium length malty finish with caramel and yeast. Good beer, however bocks are not my preferred style.

Bottle.... It came with 7,9% abv.....It pours hazy reddish brown with a large creamy off white head.....The aroma is malts with some fruits.....The flavor is sweet, roasted malts and some fruits...... nice balance brew..... Medium body....

Duften er sød og tung, og øllet har en mørkebrun farve med et tæt hvidt skum. Smagen er meget maltet og sød, og man kommer til at tænke på belgiske juleøl - dog med noget svagere og mindre krydret eftersmag.

Copenhagen beer festival. Clear brown beer. Rich malts but not much else. Dry palate. Standard stuff and dry to boot!

500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 7.9%. Unfiltered. Dark brown colour, big beige head. Pleasant sweetish aroma with notes of malts, loads of caramel and old sherry or port. Hints of oak and leather. Sweet malty flavour, notes of oak, old sherry or port again, plenty of caramel but the sweetness is not cloying. Very moderate hops, a little more would not hurt. Still, a reasonably good beer as it is.

Mahogani with a nice head. Fruity aroma of peach, apple and corn. The flavour is very sweet, almost cloying with clear notes of alcohol and corn.
