Pale amber with rich creamy head. Rich aroma of saaz hops - grass and aromatic oils. Rather sweet with soft mouthfeel and wonderful depth in the malt character. Intensely bitter finish. Oakes (6808), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 25, 2002 Light amber colour with a malty character and a firm dash of hops. yespr (6000), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 3, 2008 From tap at brewpub. Pours hazy/unclear deep orange with a slowly collapsing, creamy and off-white. Solid breadish and spiced aroma. Flavour is sweet breadish with a nice hoppy spice touch. Quite nice flavour. Ends dry and bitter with a nice spice note. fiulijn (5854), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Dec 25, 2006 Draught at the monastery/brewery; Sv. Norbert Jantarový 13° Hazy copper color. Excellent hop aroma, pure Saaz, with some vanilla. There is some malt in the taste, medium structure, and an excellent hoping, aromatic, bearing a caramel touch, the best in Prague. A wonderful, refreshing, nutty, Saaz, complex Pilsner. Even Florence likes this one! oh6gdx (5409), Vaasa, Finland Jul 2, 2008 Draught@brewpub. Hazy orange opaque colour with big beige bubbly head. Aroma is quite yeasty and malty. Flavour is yeast, malts, some hops and mild notes of wood. Also some diacetyl. Nothing very special.
