COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We introduce new special guest in our brewery. It is India Pale Ale (IPA). Our IPA is top-fermented beer brewed from Czech ingredients and two kinds of American hops ( Amarillo and Cascade). It combines full malt body with high hop bitterness and hoppy aroma.

330mL thanks to mowbeer. Thanks! Pours clear orange. Soapy lacing. Nose is cheesy, pretty typical stale IPA. Dusty. Taste is nutty, orange candies, palate wrecking tannic/astringent over boiled hops. Disappointing.

One of the best beer I ever had. Tried in Richtar Jakub, I wish they will have this beer once again

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2013 (tap 0,5l @ OP (Brno)) Nice saaz hops, light citrusy aroma. Light hazy, dark golden color. Huge white head. Medium sweet, medium bitter, well balanced, light caramel flavour. Full body. Long bitter finish. Nice soft IPA.

Tap @ Ochutnavkova pivnice. Clean copper with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma full of creamy caramel, butterscotch, some flowers. Taste is balanced bittersweet, little bit of umami also. Full body with creamy texture and soft carbonation. Long caramely sweet finish. Interestingly sweet IPA, pleasure experience.

It is worth the long walk up the hill just for this. A beautiful amber colour and and ballanced taste which goes from every so slighlty sweet to a nicely bitter finish which stays. Very nice in the mouth. What a good IPA should be.

Coper color with small white head. Aroma of cream, caramel, tropical fruits, floral. Taste is light sweet, light to medium bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, soft to avarage carbonation. Damn good.

On tap at Klasterni Strahov. Clear golden pour topped with frothy white foam, intense lacing. Aroma is hoppy but not as much as the flavor, citrusy notes, lots of orange, really citrusy flavor. Malt is light and very subtle, just a hint of biscuity pilsner. Silky palate, semi-dry.

My Bottom Line:
Aromatic orange tea-like hops meet slender caramel malts in this pleasurable, floral IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam tops the misty amber shine, lacing nicely.
-Balanced hop resins in the finish increase drinkability.
-This is not an intense IPA ; drinkability is king.
-This may not be memorable, but it is quite good.
-If you are in the Czech Republic, Matuska and Kocour make wonderful IPAs.

On tap at the brewpub.

Draught at the brewpub. It’s not a challenge to create an IPA that is the equivalent of 200 IBU tropical hop juice. It is a challenge to create an IPA that is both very hoppy and malty, perfectly balanced, with a soft mouthfeel, light malty sweetness and a rather strong bitterness. One that leaves you sitting in awe yet is not overwhelming. One that is an immensely quaffable ’big’ beer. One that doesn’t blow you away with an overabundance of tropical hops but whose tropical hop aroma enters your nasal tract with grace and class. One whose bitterness would combine the best traits of US grapefruity hops and Czech Saaz hops herbal notes. Well, I have found such a beer. And it’s magnificent.
