Keg GBBF 2011. A hazy yellow coloured beer with a tight whitish head. A full aroma of banana and bubblegum which follows through to the mouth also. Strong tasting and has a nice body. A really top class hefe for sure.

Draught @ Klasterni Pivovar Strahov. Rated on 14.7.2009
Typical aroma to a hefe: a lot of banana, some wheat and yeast and hints of citrus. Flavour has banana, wheat and hints of yeast and spices. Good hefe, but a bit too sweet for me.

Tap at brewpub. Cloudy gold, frothy head. Aroma of banana, clove, bready dough. Flavor much of the same, with an especially great banana character. Excellent effervescence. Good stuff, particularly on a hot day on the hill overlooking Prague.

Flavor and Palate : medium light bodied. Soft, clean approach with light tartness on sides. Easy going drinkable weizen.

On tap at brewery/restaurant in Prague. Great weizen with fresh fruity aroma and taste, long pleasant palate and hazy yellow color. Very enjoyable.

Draught at the brewpub. Huge banana, clove, and citrus aroma. A rich, bready nose. Cloudy gold color with a tall, fine head. Quite tart, or nicely tangy, with good fruit, citrus. Rather light, actaully a bit too thin, and not enough banana. Ok, though.

On tap, at KP Strahov brewpub, Prague on 12th July 2010. Half-hazy gold with bubbly white head of foam partly lacing the glass. Fresh and clean tasting without being insipid; sweetness of honey and lemony citrus tang, but the sweetness overrides late on, such that a rather sweet endtaste follows, but fairly lasting in nature. Rather sweeter than many wheatbeers I have tasted but not unpalatably so; rather good, and grows on you.

on tap @ Klasterni Pivovar Strahov, Prague. Golden with a nice frothy head, lovely banana and bubblegum spice nose which carried very well into the flavor as well. Personally one of my absolute favorite Weizens of all time.
