4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the abbey restaurant and at Pivni Galerie, Prague. Cloudy golden orange color with a big frothy, creamy white head. Huge nose of yeast, hops, and malts--a great bonus. Full, satisfying flavor with orange and lemon grass, hops, yeast, malts, and honey. Ends just dryly enough to make you want more.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught. I had this Easter special together with dortmunder at the brewery restaurant at the beautiful Strahovsky Klaster (monastery) in Prague. Beer was served too cold, but improves as it warms up. Cloudy golden to amber colour, large creamy head. Slightly yeasty aroma, some malts, hops and caramel too. Decent flavour, nice hoppy bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap. Sampled at the abbey restaurant, 04/25/05. Cloudy orange colour. Big, slightly bubbly head. Yeasty, herbal aroma. Peachy, fruity taste with notes of yeast and a hint of tartness. Quite bitter finish. I like this one. It is a easter seasonal, which may not be apparent from the name for everyone. It is a decent, fruity, but also bitter lager. Nice.
