Pours a golden colour with a thinish head. Aroma is quite malty with some grass and a hint of citrus. The taste is sweet malt with quite a bit of hops. The finish is quite dry. Pretty decent pils but nothing so special.

Prague Beer Museum, Prága. Áttetsző arany szín, hamar leapadó hófehér habbal. Illata malátás, szalmás, csak nagyon halványan érezhető. Ízében a malátás édesség eléggé meghatározó, kissé testesebbnek tűnik, mint amilyen valójában, de azért a virágos komlós kesernyésségtől nagyon is élvezhető, száraz, közepesen testes jól kivitelezett pilzeni, persze találni jobbakat.

On tap at U Rokytky Restaurace in Liben, Prague. Golden with a ig and lasting white head. Aroma of iscuit-y malt and herbal hops with a faint hint of sulphur (DMS?) and some diacetyl. Sweet and malty flavour with a good hoppy finish

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2011 Rerate: Pretty good when fresh from the bottle. When very cold there is a nice sweetness, and extra hoppiness, apparent. Better than the 2.8 originally given. Original: Straightforward bitter Bohemian Pilsner right here. All the classic bready elements, hoppy bitterness (unspecified in both the aroma and flavor, but mostly of hay, grass - nothing finessed or lovely here). Quite drinkable.

Jedno z nejlepších českých piv. Je pravda trochu hutnější, ale to je jenom dobře. Už se těším na soudek na silvestra.

Bottle 500ml. @ chriso.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, cabbage water, vegetable, cardboard, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090730]

0,5 l bottle as a gift.
Poured pale golden with a medium froathy white head. Average aroma with sourish yeast and some bready malt, some hop. Caramel and malt based flavor with lively carbonation, sourish yeast, herbal-grassy hop.Little bit better than the acerage pilsners, but not a big deal.

Draught at Zizkovsky Pub, Prague. Rather dark gold with a fine head. Grassy, herbal nose, a bit medicinal, like Chinese meds. Flavor also grass, herbs, banana, medium bitterness. Interesting and estery, though filtered. Light and smooth. An interesting, tasty, herbal concoction. Good.
