MartinT (4241), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Apr 8, 2008 My Bottom Line:
Clean honeyed malt sweetness pervades this professionally-crafted and serviceable Svetlé Specialni.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the coppery golden.
-This is very low on the hops, and thus not balanced at all. Hop spiciness only shows up in the finish, and very discreetly.
-The body is sturdy and well crafted.
-This not nearly as compelling as their Rytir Bitter.
-It is very drinkable for 6.5%.
-The honeyed maltiness benefits from some whispering cookie notes to add complexity.

chilangoglobal (64), Wagerningen, Netherlands Jul 20, 2008 Unpasteurized beer, good presentation dark yellow and big opaque with very withe foam like the one of sea. taste is a nice experience of balance between roasted malts and fine hops, the resul is an incredible sensation into the mouth and the end is exquisite. dEM1972 (40), , Czech Republic Jul 5, 2008 The bottle lets it down. The taste makes up for the rest; solid enough and full bodied omhper (10141), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 1, 2008 Bottled. Clear deep golden. Buttery malty nose. Sweet and fruity with impressive rounded body. Hops lie in the background to the buttery fruity malt. A touch of orange in a warming finish. Well made all they way, but just not as interesting as their best beers. kappldav123 (889), Markkleeberg, Germany Dec 27, 2007 The bottle looks good, but not as good as the others bottles of the brewery. Sweet aroma. But it tastes not sweet. The flavor is dry, partly sharp. Not a really good beer.
