Tap at Starosloviensky pivovar, Bratislava. Golden color with medium long lasting white head. Malty, hoppy aroma. Malty, fruity taste with bitter hops. Alcohol is clearly detectable. Dry, bitter finish. Drinkable.

Pours yellow and gold with big, but quickly vanishing head. Aroma is malty, but with strong hops as well. Hops taste is too herbal. Hints of alcohol are too strong. Beer is not well balanced. It has some kind of awful acidity. Mouthfeel is right, though it should make beer more drinkable. It’s not a good beer, i expected better. It is just a decent pilsner.

But no, this was anything but drinkable. Tastes gall fluid and I would not want that on my palate if I get to choose myself.

erickok (2282) - Tours, FRANCE - AUG 29, 2012
Fizzy golden and clear body with medium white head. Light malty aroma, brioche, twigs and some rustic, farm notes. Not bad but too standard for my taste. Nice carbonation, well developed mouth feel. Taste is light to medium bitter. Okay pilsner. Doens’t really justify the abv, and the aroma diappoints, but the taste is refreshing still. I can image an unfiltered version of this being great. (50cl bottle)

50cl Bottle from Tesco Plzen. Clear deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of white sugar, fruity esters, alcohol, typical (cheap) strong lager. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, fruity, some alcohol, sugar, firm metallic bitterness in the finish. Light bodied. Not very nice imo.

Svesse (5197) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAR 11, 2012
(Bottle) Golden colour with lasting, frothy, off-white head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, slightly fruity nose with toffee, grass, buttery malt and tropical fruit. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of bread, grass, tropical fruit (pineapple), toffee and a generous grassy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain malt sweetness throughout. Solid and well made. Quite nice.

čepované. Barva zlatá, pěna bílá hustá a vysoká, držící. Vůně chmelová a lehce ovocná. Chuť: na první doušek spíše sladová ale výrazně hořce doznívajicí.
