3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from corner shop not known for its promotion of craft beer. Pours an incredibly hazy orange-yellow. Perfect carbonation and white foamy head. Aroma of lemon, cinnamon, a trace of barnyard funk: comes together nicely. Taste is a letdown: thin, bitter/sour and unfocused. Slightly sweet finish which carries the flavour nicely, followed by a bitter/sour aftertaste. Not perfect but has promise; may try again as Im not sure the bottle is the freshest.

Drank as a draught. Otherwise your usual weizen but this one has a bit more citrus. Fresh!

I got this from Randall's. Pours yellow with a white head. Taste sweet, lemon, spice. I thought this was good. I could drink this again.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 0.5. Color light yellow, slightly cloudy. Foam abundant, fine, but not persistent. Aroma - light banana, apples and other fruits in the aroma of wheat am feeling right notes, but rather weak. Carbonation is moderate. Taste - banana, peel, cloves, apples - good wheat flavor, sweetness care in the finish. But the taste is short, fleeting. In general, very similar to the classic Weisen.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 13, 2014 It has almost everything a decent hefeweizen should have: hazy exterior with luxuriant head; aroma of wheat, yeast & fruit. The only problem is the palate. Thats a bit thin and watery. The finish is abrupt but not totally disappoitting.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
500ml bottle thanks to Jan Erik for sharing. Creamy white head, unclear golden coloured body. Smell of sweet, dry lemon and grass. Mid-sweet orange fruity flavours joined by a bite of coriander. Wheaty backbone. Dry fruity ending. Medium to thin bodied. Refreshing and just alright (November grain session, Tromsø 13.11.2013).

Bottle 50 cl. Hazy pale golden in color with a foamy whitish head. Wheat, rubber and sweet notes in aroma. Taste has some sour wheat notes at first, which quite fast though turn into more fruitier and slightly spicier ones. Decent.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from, er, somewhere that sells this. Nice cloudy body. Head soon dissipates. Smells more like a Belgian white than a hefe - sweet and citrus but none of that mulled wine/spiciness of a German hefe. Taste is pleasant but fleeting - slight lemon but too much water, not enough duration. Disappointing.
