Švyturys White (5%) is a wheat Hefeweizen beer, member of the traditional Švyturys collection. It is defined by a refreshing taste and flavour that resembles a bouquet of cloves, bananas, plums, orange peel and exotic fruit. This non-filtered, cloudy beer with its peculiar taste and exceptional flavour should be served with a slice of lemon in a special pre-chilled glass. A wheat beer glass quite sharply flared at the top to look a bit like an hourglass, designed so as to perfectly reveal the flavour of this exclusive beer. Beer White perfectly complements fish, seafood, soft cheese, and light fruit desserts.

Huge beautiful foam is pure white and very rich and creamy. The skimmer already immense during pouring and the beam from the bottleneck is almost milky white. Classical fresh aroma of wheat malt and a little orange. The flavor is sweet with notes of ripe banana, almost too sweet compared to type. A real summer beer, which is tasty and thirst-quenching.

500 ml can bought at The magstote in Nathan Road, Jordan.

Cloudy hazy golden honey colour with a ring of dirt-like yeast sediments; Two and half finger head with crumpety white foam which lasts for 3 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing and near zero carbonation; Fragment aroma of moderate malt, with strong wheaty tartness, ripe banana, vanilla, orange, caramel, sugar, earth, cloves, spices, strong yeast, lemon and grass; Light sweet taste of moderate malt, with strong wheat, very strong tartness, light ripe banana, molasses notes, strong earth, light cloves, strong yeast, lemon and very light grass; Close to medium body. Slick and fairly crisp palate; Mouth feel is quite strong maltyness in a thick and smooth background. Significant wheat taste with very strong tartness. Very little sweetness with fairly light banana and clove esters. Very earthy and yeasty. Light lemon to round. Kinda okay… Hoppiness is lemon and grass in nose, and lighter in taste. Bitterness is near zero for a mostly strong tart wheaty earthy finish; Fairly dry after taste. Earthy and tart to mouth.

Comments: Its looks is good, its aroma is typical Hefeweiss estery and quite nice, but the taste was not outstanding, no sugar to balance the tartness and the yeast is too earthy and not so nice. Drinkable but not worth a repeat.

Bought this in Poland. The bottle design is very nice, but what is inside, it does not surprise anybody. The taste is typical weizen, sweet and frest, but very light and without a body. I got a feeling of drinking good beed mixed with water. Good for hot sunny days.
