2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bright golden and cloudy with a massive white head and lots of tiny bubbles floating around.
Aroma is on the sweet side and very yeasty.
Taste is full of bananas and lemons, with high acidity. Faint hops at the end.
Mouthfeel is a little puckering and very lively. Light body.
Kind of easy to drink.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours from the 16.9 oz. bottle a very cloudy, opaque yellowish color with a bright white, rocky 2 finger + head that settles down by half. Itís totally impossible to detect any carbonation in the thick cloudiness. Aroma is a beautiful banana scent with perhaps a hint of lemon/orange peel. 1st sip brings a nice soft flavor of banana, citrus, doughy yeast, a hint of peppery spice. The mouthfeel is very lively and prickly from all that carbonation that was hidden in the haze. The flavors are kind of subdued, if they were a tad more bold and assertive this would be an excellent beer. Overall, itís still very good, a nice surprising pickup.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow pour with a nice white head. Aroma is coriander, wheat, and a bit of banana. Some carbonation, but comes off just a touch flat. Slight amounts of sour notes as well. Decent.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. I picked up this fella at one a little Russian shop near King William IV. Pours cloudy, peach yellow with a strong, creamy white crown. Classic Belgian witbier nose, lots of wheat, coriander, some dough. Light sweet flavor, some doughy malts, metallic crispness, light spices, some white sugar, mild lemon. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish, light herbal bitterness, some white bread, dough, mild lemony citrus notes, some yeast. The character lacks thrust, but itís still a very drinkable bevy.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
[Bottle that Jim shared with me - cheers!] Slightly cloudy yellow with a large white head. Light, frothy and lemony up front, but increasingly overtaken by slightly too much sweet banana. OK as wheat beers go, but then wheat beers are definitely not my favourite style.

4.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
0,5l glass bottle. Aroma is weak. The taste is very soft malt, carbo is lively, color is like dirt petrolium (its a good thing), malt is good, reminds amybe of a bubblegum. Texture is thick, oily a little. Finish is nice, totally not bitter (daah). That is a fine beer.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Shvyturys Baltas is one of the best hefeweizens Iíve tasted, and probably the best lithuanian beer I know of. The aroma is a little weak and the palette a bit neutral, but overall a delicious 5* beer.
