COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Švyturys White (5%) is a wheat Hefeweizen beer, member of the traditional Švyturys collection. It is defined by a refreshing taste and flavour that resembles a bouquet of cloves, bananas, plums, orange peel and exotic fruit. This non-filtered, cloudy beer with its peculiar taste and exceptional flavour should be served with a slice of lemon in a special pre-chilled glass. A wheat beer glass quite sharply flared at the top to look a bit like an hourglass, designed so as to perfectly reveal the flavour of this exclusive beer. Beer White perfectly complements fish, seafood, soft cheese, and light fruit desserts.

One of the most excellent beers I had. There is just one which was better. in my opinion. I had it in Germany in Oberwolfach.

I was lucky enough to drink this in Vilnius in Lithuania and it was a very easy to drink beer with a good taste and was overall a fine tasting beer. Highly recommended!

Had it both in the US and in Lithuania; clearly better on tap in the latter, with attractive, dark-golden appearance, reliable wheat flavor (does indeed go well with orange) and a tall, foamy head. Lacking in some estery/spicy notes as it should have, but for what it is, tis very very good indeed (Oak Tree/Siauliai 2nd time)

This is a very good German style wheat beer. It does not compare to Weihenstephaner, but few do. It is rather clovy, and use a bit more of the banana flavor. It is the best of the baltic wheats I tried.

Shvyturys Baltas is one of the best hefeweizens I’ve tasted, and probably the best lithuanian beer I know of. The aroma is a little weak and the palette a bit neutral, but overall a delicious 5* beer. Maxima XX, 1/2 liter bottle, lithuania. ~1 GBP

Tasted so far only draught (in Vilnius). Aroma of citrus as should be with witbier and not only because of the slice of lemon added hanging on the glass. It could be very refreshing during hot summer.

Very good! Poured with a nice sized, off white, head that faded after a bit and some lace. Color is a lightly cloudy amber. Aroma is like a classic Bavarian Weiss - spicey, wheat, malt, yeast, citurs. Flavor is the same way, lemon stands out and a just right balance between sweet and tart. Body is full and carbonation is just right. Finish is like flavor and of medium length. Thirst quenching satisfying beer that nevertheless leaves me wanting another swallow.

Bottle, 5 years ago. Colour of a light honey, cloudy. High and lasting head. Wheaty and yeasty aroma, with strong banana notes. Quite full taste, with a scant bitterness and strong Weizen notes.
