COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tradicinė kolekcija
Švyturys White (5%) is a wheat Hefeweizen beer, member of the traditional Švyturys collection. It is defined by a refreshing taste and flavour that resembles a bouquet of cloves, bananas, plums, orange peel and exotic fruit. This non-filtered, cloudy beer with its peculiar taste and exceptional flavour should be served with a slice of lemon in a special pre-chilled glass. A wheat beer glass quite sharply flared at the top to look a bit like an hourglass, designed so as to perfectly reveal the flavour of this exclusive beer. Beer White perfectly complements fish, seafood, soft cheese, and light fruit desserts.

My experience with eastern europe beers hasn’t been spectacular. I’m not sure if it’s distance or they just suck but I was pleasantly surprised by this beer. It is a cloudy wheat beer but I found it nice balanced and quite refreshing. Obvious clove and banana with a nice wheaty backbone. Nice, large bottles.

Bottle @ home shared by kermis. A bit hazy pale yellow collor, huge white head. Aroma is wheat, yeasty lemon and lightly yeasty sweetish banana. Tastes about the same: wheat, a hint of artificial lemon, slightly sweetish. Drinkable.

Une blanche assez simple mais fraîche et fruitée pour finir la soirée en douceur. Simple mais agréable.

Can from the Polish Delicatessen, opposite The Barum Top Inn, Halifax. It’s decent enough out of the can, so I’d imagine better from a bottle. It’s fairly light with its hefeweizen character, but no less drinkable for it, with banana dominant in both from and taste, and lingering in the palate. Hazy pale golden-orange in appearance.

Oj słabo trochę. W aromacie byłoby ok gdyby nie "kocia kuweta". Wygląd i smak nawet ok.

0.5-litre bottle. Pours a very lightly yellow-ish thick head. Aroma is funky, I think there’s the yeast they’ve used, some fruitiness and citrus. The taste has some hints of this citrus as well. Yeast is also present. Overall, pretty basic hefeweizen.

Bottle from my better half, thanks. Sparse head, light yellow colour, hazy. Aroma: banana, grain, cloves. Lightly sweet taste with a short bitter aftertaste, light body, lively. Not bad at all, refreshing, I like it.

Rich wheat aroma. Orange color with hazy liquid and big white head. Light salty in the end. Medium body with oily texture and average carbonation.

Out of the four Švyturys beers I sampled this was by far the best one. Eastern European breweries can make a good Hefe. This is no exception.
