Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn (catching up on historic rating of Lithuanian beer), Poured an amber/red colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of caramel malts, with a hint of fig and prune. Medium sweetness, medium bodied. Quite decent.

Aroma is caramel, honey and yeast. Taste is roasty german malts. Molasses, brown sugar and a very pale bitterness. Fairly simple in character. Appearance is a clear amber body with a thin pearl head that retains fairly poorly.

Copenhagen 5/3 2015. 50 cl bottle from Netto. Probably because it's from Carlsbergs eastern line of business. Pours clear amber with yellowish head that's subsiding fairly fast. Aroma is a little bland. A little dark malts and sweetness. Average carbonation - but the beer loses it's fizziness rather fast. Taste is rather sweet - like brown sugar dissolved in water. A bit sloppy for a dark beer.

50 cl. bottle from NETTO. Deep copper colour with a dense, creamy off-white head. Good looking actually. Sweet aroma with bread, caramel and toasted notes. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet with ripe fruity hints, caramel malts and a toasted notes. A pleasant surprise. Thank you, NETTO you are awesome!

Pours a light, clear copper colour, with no head or lacing. The taste is caramel sweet and over ripe red apples and grassiness. Sweet, but not like the Old Port Ale by the same brewery. It’s ok.

Beautiful amber colour, opens nicely, but hits with a slight metallic taste. Fades quickly. Could go for a night out.
