4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Shannon127 (15) - USA - JUL 3, 2008
This was far and away my favorite beer during my trip to the Baltics. It is not quite a dunkel, but more than a fest beer. Excellent flavor and aroma. The Malt and Hops balance perfectly. This is a very drinkable beer. I liked it so much I brought several bottles home with me so I can try to emulate it in my homebrew.

Bottle. Wow, this one was a real surprise to pick up from the supermarket when we crossed into Lithuania. Didn’t expect the mainstream beer to be so interesting. Lovely creamy texture and malty, fruity, and caramel flavours, slides down the throat and leaves behind its lovely aftertaste.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 dreamloomer (66) - Warsaw, POLAND - AUG 20, 2010
Bottle, 7 months ago.
Beautiful, coppery colour, it reminds me of bitters. The head is large, but disappears quite fast.
The aroma is not very strong, but it’s possible to discern some fruity and nutty notes.
Quite full in taste, malty, with nice nutty and fruity notes in taste. Not very bitter, but it suits the character.
I don’t consider it a Märzen. It’s rather a watered-down Bock.

Pours a two finger cream head that fades quickly, leaving traces lace. Clear amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Sweet malty nose. Flavor is biscuity malt, some caramel. Good value at $1.89 for a 500ml bottle from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT

Calling this dark is misleading.I expected a Dunkel and got what resembled a striong lager. Nevertheless its a decent beer, quite clear and slightly malty. Some fruits as well and no carbonation makes it easy to drink.Pity about the incorrect name though.
