"A crystal clear golden beer that crowns a glass with a frothy head of dazzling white. A deep hop aroma and a rich long lasting flavour that is underscored by a light, barely perceptible hint of hop bitterness."

Clear golden colour. Has a pils like aroma with some ’noble’ hops but sports a good amount of bread/doughy notes that is classic to the style. Light body, crisp and fast flavour profile. made to drink en masse and not the worst of the bunch i’ve had.

Es una cerveza de color dorado, con una gruesa espuma blanca. Un aroma a lúpulo muy profundo y a malta, buena sensación en boca. Una cerveza ligera y refrescante.

Gorgeous snow-white long lasting head. Well balanced malt and hops. Mix of both at the nose. Taste is rather malty with dry bitter finish with soft sourness

Neat shaped bottle, was worth a shot. Honestly, it’s just a lager, but it is a lager that understands what hops is and has a fairly decent balance. Not bad at all - would happily have this on a hot day.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear, golden yellow with a small white head. Malty aroma with hay. Sweet malty flavour with hay and a lightly bitter, slightly sour finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

New Beer Distributors, NYC ($2.75): Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is bread, grain, and cereal Taste is nice smooth and bready. No off-tastes to be had here. Really, I don’t know why people are talking so much smack on this. This wasn’t a bad beer at all. Maybe some people are getting old, skunked versions.

Pours a clear straw yellow with one finger of white head diminishing gradually to a thin skim, moderate lacing. Nose is pale malt, corn, and faint grassy hops. Taste follows suit with malt and corn dominant over grassy hops. Light to medium body and moderate sustained carbonation with a slightly sticky finish. The bottle says "Acknowledged by beer lovers and experts". Fair enough: I acknowledge it as well. Furthermore, I acknowledge I didn’t actually go blind as a result of drinking it. However, I also suggest you don’t actually drink it, unless soviet-era vodka with a chaser of gasoline is to your taste. Perhaps acknowledge it with a little wave as you pass it on the shelf, or maybe the sign against the Evil Eye? This isn’t really so much a beer for drinking, as it is a beer for avoiding, or perhaps running away from, very quickly.

Tap@ hotel in Vilnius. Bleekgele kleur, kraag blijft niet lang. Ruikt moutig. Behoorlijk zoete smaak. Weinig hop en mout in de smaak.

GoufCustom (861) - HONG KONG - AUG 18, 2014

330ml bottle bought at Scapa Scandia’s booth at HKCEC in Wan Chai during HKTDC Food Expo 2014.

Dull golden yellow colour; One-quarter finger head and soapy white foam which fades in 15 seconds; Moderate sticky lacing with very small but fizzy carbonation; Sweet aroma of malt, with light floral, dust, sugar, bread, light yeast and faint lemon; Light sweet taste of full malt, with faint grains, strong bread, light dough, very light lemon, very light bitter hops and light grass; Mid to light body. Slick and quite rich palate; Mouth feel is full lager maltyness in a pretty thick and rich body. Very low sweetness despite the presence adjunct rice, and you almost can’t feel it. Definitely Premium material’s here. Fluffy bread, light dough and licking low hops complete the picture. Good!... Hoppiness is very light lemon in nose and thin grass in taste. Very low-blow bitterness in background for a mostly malty and bready finish; Quite dry after taste. Very easy and rich to mouth.

Comments: I thought this was going to be a casual Baltic macro drain pours and was I wrong, big time: this is a rich, full malty lager akin to Helles or a Dortmunder, with nice aroma, very low sweetness and fulfilling soft breadyness. If the hops can be jacked up a bit more this will be perfect. Will buy again and Lithuania, tick!
