Some honey in the aroma is pleasant. Flavor is nicer than most of its genre. Again, honey along with some wood and spice make for a more enjoyable experience. There are far worse examples out there. berkshirejohn (1805), Bracknell, Berkshire, England

Straw with a dense white head; lively carbonation; grassy hop aroma; full-flavoured, central European-style body, with assertive pungent hops, and a grainy body. Very pleasant. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 9, 2008 From a 16.9 -oz bottle, shared by brewfiend, pours a clear golden straw brew with a thick and lumpy off-white head that slowly dissipates to a white ring. Aroma of light white bread grained malt, grassy hops and a touch of citrus zest. Taste is medium bodied, slightly sweet and light carbonated with a sweet hawaiian bread flavored malt, some grassy hops and a touch of honey. Finish is semi-sweet, a little cornish grits, with a sweet white bread aftertaste that quickly disappears clean. BDR (2154), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 9, 2008 I don’t know whose this was, but the bottle fell and broke the cap’s seal, so down it goes. A yellow pour with foamy white head. Aroma of grass and cereal grains with a sweet note to it. Sweet grainy body with a tinge of caramel flavor. A surprisingly drinkable lager given its age. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 25, 2008 Updated: Jun 9, 2008This is a nice, fairly full-bodied, tasty lager with good herbal-grassy hop taste and bitterness. It is gold with a big, creamy white head that lasts a long time and leaves decent lace. The aroma is pleasant, fairly strong grainy lager quality with hints of pine, herbs, and sulphur with the grain - a nice central European/Germanic style quality which I love. The taste is similar, being fairly light but still full-bodied and creamy from the creamy head. It has elemetns of toasty grain, honey, soft herbal-grassy hops, light but stil sufficiently strong and clear, persistent bitterness through to the finish. It has good balance and is in the end very satisfying. NJBeerman013 (771), Trenton, New Jersey, USA

Clean, crisp, pale yellow, foamy white head, unassuming, uninsulting. You can taste the wateryness of the rice filler, it almost reminds me of Kirin. This would probably go well with Chinese takeout. Aroma is bready. full with the tiniest bit of adjunt offness, some mild grassy hops. Palate is very full, buttery. Flavor has dough, alcohol and a touch of oily , herbal hops. Very good for the style. Aroma could be better, though - what’s up with that? extremeicon (108), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 30, 2007 Not bad. I haven’t had much luck with Eastern European lagers but this was a pleasant surprise. Pale golden color with a full white head. Slightly lemony aroma with some slight hops detectable. Pleasant if uncomplicated malty flavor. Nice mouthfeel and smooth finish.
