destroye7 (299), Melbourne, Australia Oct 26, 2007 500 ml bottle. Yellow and clear. Medium carbonation. Low foam. I thought that there was a funny after taste but couldn’t point exactly what it is... Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Sep 29, 2007 Bottle from Tesco. Noticeable carbonic acid. Otherwise bland and boring bog standard cheap lager. JayBaxter (386), Greater Manchester, Greater Manchester, England Sep 20, 2007 Clear lively gold with a white head, aroma is mildy malty with a pilsner like bitter taste. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA Sep 17, 2007 Pours a slightly hazed gold with a white head. Nose is of bitter and doughy character. Flavor is hoppy with an almost earthen flavor that borders on tasting "dirty". Feel is a bit high on carbonation. Drinkable, sure. But overall, this is basically an average brew with nothing interesting or unique going on. cyrenaica (435), Milton, Ontario, Canada Sep 17, 2007 500ml bottle

I tried this beer on September 13, 2007 at ’Smokeless Joe’ in Toronto. The beer poured a translucent dark gold with a thin white head. The aroma was malty with hints of grass. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with high carbonation. The taste was very grainy. hughie (3018), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Sep 6, 2007 Bottle at ’Spoons, Milton Keynes. Plae gold with a white head. Aroma was faint and slightly sweet. Some yeast. Very sweet tasting with a slight sourness. No bitterness. Not great. Slipstream (734), USA Aug 10, 2007 Updated: Jul 28, 2008It pours out an unimpressive straw color, but it intrigues with a honey-malt aroma. A little thin on the palate, but with a solid flavor - pleasantly grainy with a honey-malt undertone and a mellow aftertaste. This would probably go nicely with chicken or a sandwich, and it is fine on its own. SilkTork (4156), Rochester, Kent, England Aug 6, 2007 Updated: Feb 14, 2008Aug, 2007500ml bottle from BeersOfEurope. Corn yellow appearance with very white head. Adjunct/cereal aroma and flavour. A strange petrol sweetness followed by a blurry hop pellet bitterness. There is some character in this brew, as there sometimes is in a number of Eastern Europe beers. This tastes like a high alcohol brew that’s been watered down. The mouthfeel is thick and stodgy. On their website they make the absurd claim that this "belongs to “Dortmunder/European Export” class". If there was a RateBeer style group for Eastern European Pale Lager then that is where it belongs. This is not very nice. [1.1]
Feb, 2008 500ml bottle from my local East European shop. This is a slobby sticky beer. It tastes nasty and cheap. Bready, sweaty uncooked dough, globular, greasy, yet with acidic notes from the carbonation. I guess the Lithuanian drinkers are used to all this nastiness and take it all as part of the character. One thing this doesn’t lack is interest. Some fruit, some garbage, some rotting compost, decaying apples that explode in a mush at the touch. Yugh! Yet there are moments when the sweetness and the bizarre range of flavours head off in an interesting direction and this tastes almost good. But that doesn’t last long. Brrrrh. This is terrible stuff. [0.7]
