IrishEoin (19), Ireland Feb 21, 2007 Undistinctive looking, it was pretty anonymous except for the *nuts* taste of hops. Pretty bitter after a swallow. OleR (2008), Oslo, Norway Feb 16, 2007 Bottle. Bright golden, fluffy short-lived white head. Nose is dry malt, citrus and grassy hops. Sour/sweet taste. Some fruitiness. Modest hopbitterness. Light body. Crisp mouthfeel. Flavors of citrus and honey. Very refreshing and flavorful. BeerBiker (1384), Odense, Denmark Jan 28, 2007 [Sampled at CMO, general 2006/07.]
A mainstream lagerbeer with its usual unremarkable notes of something rice, metal, sourness and maltyness. But not bad! egisz (29), Kaunas, Lithuania Jan 25, 2007 Bottle or can 500 ml. Light beer with big light head. Nice, sweet aroma of hop. Very good beer taste (i call it real beer taste:) ). One of my favourite. lagermonkey (597), Marietta, Georgia, USA Jan 18, 2007 Pours a clear bright yellow with a snowhite frothy head. Some light lacing. Smells of sweetish pale malt, hints of DMS and noble hops.
Tastes quite sweet pale malt, corny DMS-type flavors. Persistent light noble hops help to balance the sweetness and save the beer from a drain pour. The hops are odd tasting, never tasted a hop profile quite like it before. Mouth is lightly sticky, finishes with the hops then finishes clean. This is below average but not by much. I was expecting far worse.
