Aug 9, 2006 Pours a three finger white head that fades quickly to a thin layer leaving some lace. Cloudy light amber color. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Slight wheat nose even though this is a lager. Starts sweet but hops take over that leaves a metallic after taste. Amazing that it won a gold medal. $2.69 for a 500ml bottle from John’s Market Tigard, Or.

Aug 3, 2006 Bottled(500ml). -Sweet malty aroma with notes of hop and rice. All beers that I’ve tried in Lithuania were (a bit) too sweet, so I think that this kind of sweetness is typical for all Lithuanian lagers.

Jul 30, 2006 Bottle. White high an good looking head. Clear light yellow body. Again this "muddy water" aroma which I cannot quite describe but do not like. Sweet yet dry hops flavor and a dry aftertaste I do not quite like.

Jul 29, 2006 My bottle didnt say Ekstra- but just 5.2%. Pours a clear medium to light gold with a nice white head, fades a bit but leaves a film. Aroma is bready malts, but has a slight skunked hop aroma. Bready malts along with some herbal and spicy hops and a slight metallic finish. High carbonation detracts from the flavors and mouthfeel.

Jun 23, 2006 Pour is a very clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is a lager non-existant. Flavor is not totaly crap. A very sweet grain and hop. Nothing to blow you away mind you but still decent for a eastern euro lager and the price is decent as well at only a bit over a dollar for a 500ml.

May 22, 2006 Bottle. Yellow colour with a medium frothy mostly diminishing white head. Aroma of malts and hops. Not a good one.

May 20, 2006 Taster at Binny’s, Orland Park. So the post Soviet beer invasion continues. First thing I noticed here was an odd cracker smell. Reuglar lager color and head after that. Taste? Kind of grainy and corny. Just ordinary imported dollar bottle of beer.
