robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA Dec 31, 2005 Yellow Coloring with Heavy White Bubbly Head. Sweet Corn...Light Spices..but Overall Bad Sweet Grain and Corn Brew. badgerben (3584), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Dec 29, 2005 Clear yellow color with a thick white head. Grainy aroma, but clear and light, not muddled. Also a bit of fruit and barnyard qualities. The taste was very similar. It was grainy, but very fresh and not the silo dust that most grainy beers end up being. A little bit of sweetness on the end, reminiscent of honey. johndoughty (2150), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England Dec 19, 2005 Golden and malty with a clean taste.Left no lacing just a slight lingering maltiness.
A reasonable attempt at a very pleasant style. HenrikSoegaard (4263), Randers, Denmark Dec 3, 2005 Bottle. Frothy good mostly deminishing head. Moderate malty aroma, slightly citruslike. Metallic flavour, short finish. Nice palate. Geiserich (1775), Vienna, Austria Nov 28, 2005 Bottled:
Light bready aroma. Fresh, light malty flavor. Nice dry, bitter finish. One of the better beers of this county. Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 22, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Pilsener golden with a creamy, white head. Malty aroma. Soft, light body dominated by malt with a weak, underlying tartness that indicates the use of brewing cereals. But overall a decent and quenching drink. 211105 TheBeerOrg (1563), Kentucky, USA Nov 21, 2005 Updated: Nov 22, 2005Pours light golden with a thin white head and sparkling carbonation. Aroma is nasty sweetish malts, DMS, and honey. Taste is sweet bready malts and a strange fruity butter finish....? Mouthfeel is sticky and deceivingly heavy, with medium carbonation. This does not taste like any Dortmunder I’ve had. Because, I taste corn, and rice (which they admit to). And to think that I got excited when I found out this was a Dortmunder. Overall, if I were to rate purely on style, I’d say this is a complete failure in my book. Why would I want my glass decorated with a thick scum of glaring whiteness? Does that sound even the least bit appealing? Why do beers from Eastern Europe always taste so sugary sweet? This beer did not sit well. Hansen (2235), Randers, Denmark Nov 5, 2005 Golden colour beer. An ok medium head. Aroma i fine, hoppy. Flavor, not so good, corn??
