| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 23, 2009 Bottle. Yellow gold topped with a thin, but creamy head. Grassy hop aroma, surprisingly alcoholic with almost a touch of spice. Prickly carbonation and some dryness. The flavour is pretty much as I expected, nothing too offensive and a decently hoppy finish. Ok. jimmay (203), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 29, 2009 Fruity, mostly citrusy. Aromatic herbal hops. Quite sweet but not in negative sense. Has some degree of peppery spiciness. Burbon taste alcohol pops out more than I expected but it has its charm. Clear golden color with lively carbonation. yesyouam (589), Fairport, New York, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 2, 2009 Thanks to Vaidas for providing this bottle, adding Lithuania to my map. Švyturys Ekstra is a sparkling, slightly hazy, light golden lager with a thin, dense, waxy white head that fades pretty quickly, but leaves a little lacing on the glass. The aroma is bit muted, but slightly sweetened with round, light malt. There are notes of lemon, hay, soft grass and medicine. It is light bodied and a bit chalky and alkaline in the mouth. It’s actually not too watery. This beer tastes a lot boozier than it is. There is a strong fusel taste, followed by corn, solvent and black pepper. The hops almost come through at the finish with their soft grassiness, but the toll of the alcohol(s) drowns everything out. This kind of tastes like a 40. I could see drinking this in a dimly lit place, while chain smoking. Maverick34 (698), New York, USA
