Bart (1625), Vosselaar, Belgium Aug 9, 2008 Bottle, Golden blond coloured beer with some average carbonation and a small white head. Hoppy sweet aroma and a medium to full palate. Finish is light bitter hoppy with some grainy touches. Medium lager. ucusty (1871), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Aug 7, 2008 Light yellow color almost transparent. Lots of carbonation. Caramel malts on the nose. Thin bodied sweet flavor. Slightly dry finish. Very grassy joe19612 (673), camberley, Surrey, England Jul 26, 2008 Bottle. Pours a very light yellow colour with a thick white head. The beer is sweet and a bit watery with a long dry finish. Had better.
KimJohansen (6645), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jul 22, 2008 Bottle. Clear golden with medium white head. Sweet and grainy with malty and caramel notes. greenmanalishi (294), Leicestershire, England Jul 11, 2008 hops, grass, straw, grain a little sticky and pale but better than most of it’s competitors Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jul 9, 2008 Another decent Baltic beer. Hoppy, dry taste with hints of malt. A decent brew. Reminds me a Saku from Estonia. EFC1878 (291), Manchester, Greater Manchester, England Jul 7, 2008 Pours from the bottle a gorgeous pale gold colour with a perfect white head. Malt aroma with the alcohol also coming through. Good body and mouth feel - slight graininess helps. Crisp finish makes this possibly the ideal summer beer. Not the greatest beer by any stretch but, taken for what it is, there’s a lot to recommend it. Each to his/her own but I can’t understand the consistent low ratings for this way above average beer. Shannon127 (15), USA Jul 3, 2008 This is a fairly good pale lager, if that is what you like. That is not my favorite style, so I will try to be objective. It is a very light beer by European standards, but much fuller than Miller or Bud. It is not nearly as hoppy as the pilseners. This would make a great picnic beer.
