"A crystal clear golden beer that crowns a glass with a frothy head of dazzling white. A deep hop aroma and a rich long lasting flavour that is underscored by a light, barely perceptible hint of hop bitterness."

Bottle > Byblos > Fort Worth. Really pretty darn good. But then again maybe it was the atmosphere. Certainly seemed better than a 14 rating. Light and crisp and a pretty decent amount of flavor which I sometimes can’t find in these types of beers.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Halden. Golden colour with a white head. A fresh moderate malt and hoppy aroma. Some caramel notes. Mild sweet and rich malt flavour. Moderate fruity and hoppy. One of my favorite beers when I am tired of all the other massive IPA or imperial stout etc :-)

northropfrye (653) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JAN 11, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2012 This is actually not a bad beer. Clear golden colour. White head. Sweet aroma. Taste is a little malty. More flavourful than most pale lagers.

Benjii (1686) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 16, 2011
In bottle at the Bier Halle, Glasgow. Clear light golden colour which is almost yellow. Pours with a thick white head. Aroma of yeast, a little sweet caramel, rice and lemon. An interesting yeast flavour, not quite as bready as most Latvian lagers. Caramel, grassy hops, rice and lemon flavours also. Mouth-feel is a little oily and the finish is very subtly sour. Not too bad for the style.
