Golden. Long, foamy head. Aroma: Grainy w’ grassy hop backing. Flavor: Grain Lovers beer with grassy hop backing. Grainy finish. OK, it’s a Lithuanian Macro-Brew quality beer but at least it tried to have a personailty! Rinkuškiai can do better when they want to.
2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 pumpkinheart (63) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - DEC 27, 2007
UPDATED: JAN 7, 2008 Bottle. Poured into Svyturys branded 0.5L lager glass.
Svyturys recommends serving at 37.4 degrees F and I can see why. The warmer this beer got, the more it tasted like bitter, stale baked goods. To be fair, I’m not much of a lager fan. The head disappeared as fast as it arrived. I didn’t like the intense carbonation, either. Aftertaste stuck around far too long.
EDIT: I’ve had a couple more of these from the 8-pack I purchased and should note, in all fairness, that it really isn’t as bad as some of the usual suspects. I could likely even develop a taste for this particular brand, if need be.

Bottle, 500 ml. Non-descript head. Aroma is somewhat hoppy, but also skunky. Taste goes from mild, realy mild hops to rice to grain (in the finale). Lacks body, and the skunky feeling, well... Average.

While we may not always enjoy the beer here, in its country of origin, the taste suprisingly changes. Pours a straw yellow body with a very obviously highly malted mouthfeel and a very grainy taste. Sort of grassy in ways, with a well carbonated body . A medium sized head that seems to stick around throughout the end.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 NeoHippie2 (244) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JAN 15, 2010
Pours a golden yellow into the glass with a big white head. Notes of malt on the nose with some yeast. Kind of bland. I don’t get much hop character to this one. It tastes more like a pale lager than a helle to be honest. Won’t be in any hurry to drink this one again.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 renffisch (642) - london, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 26, 2008
quite sour, malty lager nose, corny. Straw yellow, clear. steady white small head. Very corny watery flavours, i guess the rice...(why?) not much of a presence, grassy. baltic lager.
