COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
JUBILIEJINIS 1784 (5,4% vol.) is a unique beer made according to the outstanding technology that is rarely applied throughout the World and is called krausening. This technology was invented in Bavaria 800 years ago. The beer is a skilful mix of new and mature beer. It is matured in cold cellars of ŠVYTURYS twice longer than usually. That is why it has such subtle and harmonious taste, and that is why it’s scum is chard till the last swallow. JUBILIEJINIS 1784 is the beer of highest category and quality. It is the second sort of beer from ŠVYTURYS traditional collection. This beer is a present of ŠVYTURYS 220-ieth birthday to large number of Lithuanian beer lovers. It is available in 0.5 litre bottles. The first lot of JUBILIEJINIS 1784 was a collectable rarity – exactly 220 000 first bottles were marked with individual collection numbers. The bottle of JUBILIEJINIS 1784 No. 220 000 remained at ŠVYTURYS brewery. This symbol of remarkable ŠVYTURYS birthday will always remind of honours jubilee celebration moments. Džuljeta Armonienė, the Chief Technologist of ŠVYTURYS, confessed: „Experienced brewers say that the most important things to make a good beer are malt, cold, yeast and brewers conscience. We used all experience that ŠVYTURYS gained in 220 years when brewing JUBILIEJINIS 1784”.

Great taste, fine golden colour. Low bitterness, nice hops. One of the best from Lithuania’s large brewers.

Bottle in Wetherspoons, Birmingham. Quite nice really, golden Lager with a crispness, a firmness and a ’ness to get me slightly squiffy when drinking auf einen empty stomachen. Holds it’s flavour very good.

Graham malty aroma with darkish, golden raisin fruitiness. Translucent peachy gold, good bottle, fair label, wit-like head. Light diacetyl, fruity, biscuity, malty, fairly well hopped. Turns a little metallic towards the end. Mouthy. Lots of yeast, tending towards Belgian character. A different brew

Pale lager poured a bubbly straw body with a tinge of orange. THick fluffy white head. Rice, corn, sweet mild metallic nose. Great example of Eastern/Central European light lager. Mildly spicy, dry hoppy funk. Clean with slight corn sweetened finish. Sessionable.

Bottled. Pale golden, average head. Distinct, somewhat soapy, hop aroma. Fairly sweet with crsip clean mouthfeel. Dominated by aromatic, flowery soapy hops. Low bitterness. In possession of a fair bit of character, and IMO one of the better beers to be found in Lithuanian supermarkets.

Had this one at the Oktoberfest beer tasting at the Binny’s in St. Charles, Illinois. Slightly cloudy, bright yellow pour with a thin white head. Other than that, not much going on, a typically bland and uninteresting lager.

Golden-bodied with a huge white head that became a scummy film and left scummy lace. Aromas held light herbal hops, bread dough and hay with overall sweetness and metallic notes. Full flavored yet medium-bodied, the taste started moderately bitter and finished moderately sweet. It was a better taste than I had anticipated.

Bottle, DBF 2006. Gold, low white head and moderate condition. Grainy sweet in the nose, soft sweet maltiness in the mouth that continues briefly in the finish.
