500ml bottle. Deep caramel color. Medium size, off-white, thick head. Doesn’t last for very long, but never disappears. Sweet, hops, grainy, caramel in aroma. Alcohol, malty, caramel, very faint hops in flavor. Drinkable, but dull.

Pours light amber, aroma of malts and wheat, taste of slight strong malts, good aftertaste of strong booze.

Lots of caramel and other sweetness. Hints of wood. Umber brown in color. Small, but stable ecru head. Sweeter malt flavors. Caramel and brown sugar. Body is a bit dull. A brown ale with a little more umph! 4/15

You gotta throw away American "style concepts" with this one. ’Old Port Ale", also a "Scottish Ale". Of course it’s not a Port nor a Scottish Ale, it’s a decent and drinkable of a relatively hi-alk amber beer for the Baltic area, resembling certain other Baltic efforts. Malty, not bitter, smooth. For the price, not f-in bad.

Bottle ordered in Poland. The beer has got a hazy brownish colour with a small head and medium body. Aroma of malt, trees and bread. Taste of mild malt, barley, cake, rum, roisins, dried fruits. Drinkable, yet nothing special.

Bottle from Tres Bonne Cuisine. Pours out true to color for the style, head is a bit weak. Caramel and peat on the nose. Taste is sweet, slightly earthy, but mostly sugary. Very abrupt finish

50cl Bottle from Costa. Clear Amber colour, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, hint of toast. Flavour is sweet, malty, caramel, tiny bit of toast, hoppy light-bitter finish, but it’s overpowered by the sweetness. Light bodied.
