COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

500ml bottle. Deep caramel color. Medium size, off-white, thick head. Doesn’t last for very long, but never disappears. Sweet, hops, grainy, caramel in aroma. Alcohol, malty, caramel, very faint hops in flavor. Drinkable, but dull.

Piana średnio do drobno pęcherzykowej ale szybko opada do obrączki. Aromaty słodowe i lekko karmelowe. Niska goryczka, średnio słodkie. Wysycenie słabo skomponowane. Overall: Takie koncernowe Ale.

Light clear amber with small head. Sweet malts, roasted touch, light tropical fruits. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Quite sweet with ok hops in the finish. Ok

Fast receding off-white head over copperish-orange, coldhazed beer. Rainwater, parsley, caramel dissolved in plenty water. Caramel and parsley again, faint sweetness as in a wet biscuit; balance coming from the... carbonation. Very watery indeed... mineral, sparkling water with a bit of caramel/maltsyrup. Ultra-light body, I can hardly accept the announced 5.6% ABV. That it is made with cararedmalt, is easier to believe. Interesting to try - once. Txs, Stef!

Bottle. Clear amber with a medium rapidly fading frothy off-white head. Malty aroma with hints of caramel. Sweet with caramel and fruity flavors, light metallic notes, low bitterness. Thin body, dry finish.

500 ml. bottle @ home. Top of the bottle is pyramid shaped, really reminds me of some other beer but nothing pops into my head. Procured from Anna-Maria in Antwerp. BBF 07/06/2014. It looks pretty classy & interesting and the glass itself has a picture of an eagle holding a crown imprinted. Tours a touch reddish amber candy, bubbly head is quickly gone. For the time it is there, it is off-white / milky very light beige. Smells like apple syrup & cheap candy sugar, sticky biscuit, overripe raisins, slight metallic note as if suggesting a lager as opposed to an actual metallic smell. Taste is apple, cheap chewing gum, cheap candy sugar, raisins, simple cheap sugary, bread, oily, lots of biscuit, butter cookies, energy drink, mettalic lager touch. This really feels like a lager & not an ale to me. Body is oily, lighter, lager feel. Slightly watery. Not very exiting & simple but not bad at all & at least it isn’t a pale lager. It is certainly far more enjoyable than the ratings indicate here. I just cannot believe that this isn’t a lager. I found another example of the non-existent Scottish Ale (?) style.

Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. The pour’s reddish amber with a small head. The nose is of strong cherry, a bit of wood. Red apples dipped in caramel. Similar flavor. Rich caramel malts. A bit of chocolate. Slight booziness. Medium body, active carbonation. Not bad for a Lithuanian Scottish Ale.

500ml bottle from Tallinn, deep amber colour, medium off-white mostly diminishing fizzy head, little bit of lacing. Moderate to heavy malts with caramel, cookie, and a bit of toast, light citric hops. Taste is initially moderately sweet and slightly acidic, turning into a slightly bittersweet and sour finish with a moderate to heavy acetic feel. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Could’ve actually been a decent Scottish ale if there would’ve been a significantly bigger amount of hops, the malt body seemed generally good. But as such, way too sweet.

As far from decent scottish ale as the earth from sun. Dark amber colour, Sweet malty aroma. Sweet malty taste. Lively carbonation. Usual mainstream beer.
