Rich, dry, chocolate and mocha flavours. This is great chilled and served with oysters.

Dark tan, large-bubbled head. Sweet aroma of smoke, grains, cereals, some fishy smells as well. Thin and oily overall, a sweet plum or old strawberry flavor on top of the chocolate malts. Not bad, but not spectacular.

dark in coloration with little visible head. The aroma is odd, very sweet and reiniscent (sp?) of spiced rum. The flavor is very malted and dry on the tounge. a bit of bite. A bit too light and carbonated for a stout.

Pours brown, with smallish head. Quiet looking brew . Nose of slightly milky medium roasted malt, rather sweet. Shy on mouth feel, some roast, some thin smoked malt.

Nice roasted coffee aroma, deep brown, zero head. Malt and chocolate flavours, light bodied, slightly bitter. Decent. Thanks Oakes.

Roasty chocolate aroma with a hint of sea salt. Roasted barley flavor with a dry bitter chocolate finish. Low carbonation.

Dark colour. Lacked head and carbonation. Had the typical roasted flavor of a stout, but was a bit too thin and watery for my liking.

Roasty aroma, a little cocoa. Poured a dark brown color, very little head. Flavor was pretty roasty but it lacked any oomph because of the thin delivery. Lightly sweet on the end. Fair.

Very dark brown. Sweetish, roasty aroma. Thinnish body...this always bugs me, but especially in a meaty beer like a stout. Slightly oily, chocolatey. Sweetish finish.
