COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our limited release Imperial IPA is all about excess; this barrel conditioned release adds yet another layer of complexity, best savored at warmer temperatures in a brandy snifter. We use massive quantities of the finest European barley malts and American hops to produce a wonderfully malty beer with outrageous hop expression. We then age this creation on oak infused with bourbon like spirits. From the initial aroma, through the balanced finish and the lingering hop flavors that coat your palette, 10-10-10 is truly fertilizer for the hop lover’s soul!

Cask at Redlight. Pours hazy amber with a thin white head. Big whiskey, vanilla aroma from the barrel, along with ample amounts of citrus and pine hops. Carbonation is rather low because of the cask, so body is a little light, but lots of citrusy resiny hops and a smooth malt body come through nicely. Touches of the barrel also come through, too. This is a well done brew.

Draft at redlight for the Swamp Head night. Aged in the Palm Ridge whiskey barrel from Florida. Pours a dark amber orange color and topped by a thin, smooth off white head of foam that leaves drippy lines of lace. The aroma is nice and straight forward with notes of sweet caramel malts, citrus and pine hops, and smooth bourbon and vanilla from the oak. The flavor follows with more of the vanilla and oak flavors to go with the sweet caramel malts and citrus and pine hop bitterness. The boubon is fairly subtle and round things out while adding a nice warming feeling on the finish. Medium bodied with subtle carbonation on the mouthfeel and a lingering bitter hop finish with some added heat from the barrel. This was a nice use of the barrel with their ipa, and an added bonus with using a Florida barrel.

draft @ redlight redlight. Aged in a Palm Ridge Florida Whiskey barrel! Vanilla oak aroma with piney hops. Pours a molasses amber, it definitely picked up some color from the charred oak barrel. Smooth oak and vanilla with molasses and caramel malts with earthy bitter hops and sweet pine resin, very smooth with a sticky hop finish lingering vanilla and a bit of heat. This beer rocks!!!

On cask at the Whole Foods / CCB Cask Event. pours amber, off-white head. aroma of oak, hops, caramel malts. flavors, this becomes a plus of their original 10-10-10 version, lots of nice rich hops. Nice woody/barrel and oak goodness, leaves a warming abv mixed with citrus hops, caramel malts finish with the added barrel goodness.

On cask at the Whole Foods / CCB Cask Event. It pours out of a beer engine hazy copper with nice off white head. The aroma is oak and spice and boozy sweetness running into mostly pine resin and grapefruit hoppiness at the end of the draw. Overall kind of a mild aroma likely due to the type of conveyance used. The taste is sweet bourbony and spicy oak mixed with pine and resiny hoppiness. Then toward midway some sweet maltiness rises up to be heard. Those notes fade into the finish to reveal tasty resiny hop goodness. This brew attains a tasty balance between hop bitterness, hop flavor and sweet barrel aged notes.
