Pours a translucent copper with a thick white head. Aroma balances malt and hops not an in your face ipa but really drinkable. Taste follows, very balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Crystal clear amber color. Minimal head that vanishes quickly. Some lacing. Quite bitter. The malt backbone must be light but detect some caramel taste. Pretty good IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap flight at House of Beer. Nutmeg color in the glass with a white head. Interesting aroma that reminds me of Grape Kool Aid. The flavor is very similar. Very unique but pleasing. Finish is more like a traditional IPA. Soft, fruity, and flavorful.

Draft at Stubbies and Steins, Gainsville. Filtered orange-tan-brown. Nice creamy white head. Respectable orange floral, fresh hop aroma. Clean, fresh, lots of hop flavor. Sort of like and amped up English IPA, East Coast style. Toasty golden malt, medium to full bodied, a really pleasant, well executed IPA.

Big nose describes this one well with a strong hop aroma coming off the top. The flavor is decent for a double, but doesn't live up to the aroma. Solid beer, but like other swamp head brews better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is sweet and hoppy, with an interesting funk. Color is a deep orange with a head of small white bubbles. Taste is full of hop bitterness, but not too sweet - great taste but no bells or whistles. Not horrible on the palate.

I’ll start with the overall, this is great just based on the flavor packed into a relatively light and dry package. It smells light, has an average look, and is dry/ carbonated on the palate but the flavors are really great and in balance. There are so many good IPAs but this one is unique in its body to flavor match.

erickok (3196) - Tours (and Paris), FRANCE - SEP 15, 2012
Dark copper body and beige head. Very fruity with dark hops and pine tree. Quite rich. Well developed bitterness but funnily not as bitter as the Stump Knocker American Pale Ale as this has a more present malt base. Drinks well, a good brew. (On tap at Satchels on Florida trip)

Rustyham (1711) - St. Petersburg, Florida, USA - SEP 1, 2012
Deep purple red color, fluffy head.sweet nose, cherry, caramel, honey. Flavor is a sweet and sour lime, slight sting, almost notary bit nice. Pretty good, refreshing, not over the top on the bitterness,

Dogbrick (7253) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 21, 2012
Sample at Redlight Redlight. The beer is a hazy amber-gold color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Notes of malt and citrusy hops in the nose. Medium-bodied with a moderately bitter hops character and flavors of citrus and bready malt. The finish is piney hops with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Decent overall.
