On tap at WOB Port Orange. Super dark color with a thin brown head. Very dry flavor with hints of roasted malts. Aroma had hints of dark chocolate and nuts. Not too bad but perhaps just a little too dry.

On tap, 5th Avenue Tap Room, wife’s 30th class reunion. Inky. Lots of roast and coffee, dark cocoa, lightly bittered otherwise. Some spiciness in the finish. This had a medium mouth. I was well into the evening and without a notepad when I picked this one up. Will do a more in-depth rating someday.

Tallahassee, Fl - on tap - Fermentation Lounge. Pitch black pour, sticky, mocha colored head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma has some nice chocolate accents and a touch of bitter chocolate. Rich flavor that matches the aroma with the coffee and chocolate notes. Hints of marshmallows and licorice in the back end. Sours a bit near the end with some vanilla funkiness. Thick enough mouthfeel.

Aroma is full of coffee, but feels incomplete. Appearance is a bit oily (not a pun) but a nice dark with a small copper lacing head. Taste is a bit stale, but honestly more realistically coffee than other coffee stouts. The nice thick carbonation balances the bitter.

Consumed at Stoogies and Stouts and Brewers Ball.
A: Pours deep black with a small tan head.
S: Aromas of roasted malt, gas station coffee, and chocolate.
T: Pretty damn flavorful. Nice light roasted coffee, roasted malt, and milk chocolate sweetness.
M: On the thinner side of medium, smooth with a slightly bitter finish.
D: Pretty good, not my favorite coffee beer, but pretty tasty nonetheless.

Tap @ Dunedin for Stogies and Stouts ’10. Pours dark brown, thick mocha head.
Aroma, nice fresh roast, coffee/mocha aroma.
Flavors, lots of roasted malts, notes of coffee/lactic sweetness, light chocolate/mocha grainy mouthfeel. Nice finish with the perfect amount of coffee that does keeps a very mild bitter touch. Med-high carbonation.
