@FBG Brewers Ball-on tap-offwhite-hazy gold. A-floral/resin. T-floral/spice hop bite, sweet lt/med malt.

On draft at Brewers’ Ball 2013. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a white head. Nose is nice caramel backbone with a bit of spice and some mild heat. Flavor follows with nice big caramel and some spices with mild heat, some grapefruit, and a mild bitter finish. Medium in body and nice overall.

Clear orange in red in color. Notes of cereal on the aroma with a feeling of under brush. Roasted hop feel on the palate. Earth and pine hops. Good overall.

Tallahassee, Fl - on tap at Proof Brewing Company. Dark copper pour, thick sticky white head. Aroma has a nice spruce presence. Bold flavor with plenty of citrus bitter goodness, some juicy fruit gum sweetness and a back end of spearmint. Mouthfeel is thick and sticky.

Growler from Proof. Gold pour with a thin white and spotty lacing. Aroma is spicy, ginger and floral hops. Tastes are caramel malt, pine, citrus rind, woody, herbal and peppery spices. Kind of a lot going on in the finish - hard to decipher. Dries out with long bitter aftertaste. Ok.

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2012 Pours a slightly hazy copper on tap with a frothy off-white head that dissipates to leave light lacing. Aroma of citrus from hops and slight spicy notes, curry meets cedar. Taste is way more of the cedar spiciness than the smell, with good citrus and coconut notes. Pretty good, a little thin on the tongue.

Amber pour with a frothy white head that fades fast. Aroma is a bit faint with floral hops, caramel malts and hints of earthiness. Flavor is bitter lime rinds, ginger, herbs, spicy and floral hops with some sweet malts backing. Medium bodied and a herbal finish. A mess of spices.
