I think I must have had this up at Vertigo... but it was a long night. Sweet caramel malts, citrus, pine, floral. Little bready. Nice enough.

My Bottom Line:
This generic American Pale Ale shares light caramel and mild citrusy hop resins.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the misty dull amber.
-Malts offer subtle toast aromas as well.
-Drinkability is quite high, which is the point I’m sure, but the flavor profile and aroma are very forgettable.
-Mouthfeel is lean.
-Aroma is deficient for what I like in the style.
On tap at Coffee District.

Wow this was bigger and better than expected. Pours hazy golden with a huge creamy sandy head. Flavors bring juicy citrus notes and hops and malts blended. Body is huge and thirst quenching, as described, making it impressive for a pale ale!

Tap. Clear orange pour with a white head. Citrus aroma and taste. Not complex. Just okay.

A solid pale ale with nice sweet citrus. Had on tap at Smokehouse in Fainesville. Light and fruity with a good back end bite. Becomong one of my favorite american pales.

Copper and creamy off white head. Tropical fruit, bready base, well developed. Great smooth yet big bitterness. Drinkable with nice prickly carbonation. Great balance between fruity bitterness and a malty base. Really nice and typical American IPA. (On tap at Satchels on Florida trip)

Draft at Vertigo. LIght amber pour with a white head that laces. Aroma of piney and citrus hops with a decent crystal malt backing. Flavor same same aroma and has a nice bitter ending to it. Pretty good.

Aroma is an interesting mix of earthy and hoppy. Unfortunately the mixture doesn't work as well on the tongue. The palate sustains a bitter hop finish that isn't enjoyable either. If it wasn't for a great appearance with a white lacing head an orange color and great aroma mixture, the palate and taste would sink the beer.

Pours a nice golden amber on tap with a solid khaki head and great lacing. Aroma of grainy malts, piney hops, and slight citrus. Taste follows suit, with the hops coming through the most. Pretty good APA.
